Somatic Bodywork Session- 2.5 hours

Somatic release engages the body's sensory-motor system. It utilizes the concept of neuroplasticity—rewiring the brain's neural pathways by giving the body new, safe physical experiences in response to old patterns of stress. Traditional therapies target the cognitive brain, but in this session we target mind and body. We will use breathwork, bodywork, hot stones and warm towels to open the body and keep the mind calm so we can go into deeper layers of work.
